Ron Focht (President)

Ron Focht hails from Waynesfield, Ohio, where he spent his formative years working on the family farm. There, he gained valuable experience in agriculture, livestock management, and hunting.

Educational Background

After completing high school, Ron pursued a degree in welding engineering at Ohio State University, completing the intensive five-year program. He then joined Armco Steel Corp. as a research and product engineer while also earning an MBA in Finance from the University of Cincinnati.

Professional Journey

In 1976, Ron, along with his wife, Deb, and their three children, moved to Fort Myers, FL. They purchased United Welding and Machine, where they built lasting relationships with local businesses. In 1986, they acquired John M. Booton, Inc. (DBA Woods Metal Works) and have continuously invested in its growth and development to better serve the Fort Myers community.
